Words Of Inspiration | On Grace And Glory
The Wonder Of Grace
Psalms 84:11 For the Lord God is a sun and shield: the Lord will give grace and glory: no good
thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.
2nd Peter 1:2&3 Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of
Jesus, our Lord, 3 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto
life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that has called us to glory and virtue.
Dear Friends: It is my prayer as always that these words of
inspiration will bless you and encourage you on your spiritual journey, and may God’s love for you shine
clearly through every word. And may these words of encouragement touch you in such a way that your life would
become an example to others of God’s ability to be all we need in even our darkest hours.
The topic of grace and the importance of its meaning in our lives is a subject that one can never quite fully
explain or grasp the significance of such a glorious gift from God to His children through Jesus, His son. It’s
unmerited, undeserved favor. We cannot earn it. Yet it has been freely given to us, not by our righteousness, but
because of the work Jesus did on the cross.
Grace is one of the greatest gifts God has given to men. In scripture it is often in association with peace and
mercy from our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Where there is peace and mercy you will find grace, and where there
is grace, you will find peace and mercy. Again may these words of inspiration and words of encouragement become
real in your heart today for scripture says in 1 Peter 5:5 - And when the chief Shepherd
shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away.
God’s word says where sin abounds, God’s grace does much more abound, so we’re covered from guilt within and
without, from the top of our heads to the soles of our feet. In the above scripture we are shown that grace and
peace are multiplied unto us through knowledge of God and of Jesus, our Lord. The more we acquaint ourselves with
Him, the greater grace He bestows on us, thus the greater our peace. Today we might say it is a gift that keeps on
giving.
Scripture says in 2 Thessalonians 2:16&17 - Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and
God, even our Father, which hath loved us, and hath given us everlasting consolation and good hope through grace,
17-Comfort your hearts, and stablish you in every good word and work. If you meditate on
those two scriptures you will perhaps get a glimpse of what it is to have received freely that everlasting
consolation and good hope through grace.
Beloved, through Christ there is always hope, and consolation for any life. Grace is always a second chance. Grace
is always a positive response in an otherwise negative situation. Grace is a step up when we’re feeling down. Grace
is a word of affirmation, not a word of condemnation. Grace is always pure with no strings attached. Grace is an
unconditional condition, except to believe on the name of Jesus and His completed work for us on the cross. What
words of encouragement, what words of inspiration to any man, that God would pour out of Himself this great grace
upon us, from the least to the greatest! His love is of infinite supply and His grace is free to all who will seek
it.
God has saved us and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His purpose and
grace, which was given to us in Christ Jesus before the world began (2 Timothy 9).
The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you and yours.
